Duh....

it suddenly dawned on my last night before I went to bed and now I know exactly what I need to do to make this top. I just gotta dig through my patterns and find something with a non-gathered sleeve in a size 6. I'm going to modify this pattern. It will be easier than I first thought it would be. I am thinking about using one of the "celebrate spring" Moda fabrics for the pants and the appliques, or doing embroidery in the same colors as the pants instead of applique. I'm so excited about this project now! I just have to wait until I get some more spending money. LOL
