What a week....

First off I want to say thank you to those of you who have been concerned about our kitty. The recovery process is really slow, but appears to be moving forward. She has had some pretty rough bouts with nausea and all that goes with that the last couple of days, so we have been learning how to deal with that. Every meal she keeps down is a step closer to her not feeling so crummy, we just have to look at it that way. She seems a little more interested in what's going on around her, so that's good. She was up investigating the pile of fabric scraps that were in my sewing room this morning:0) Her latest blood tests did show some improvement, also. It's just going to be a long, slow road, but she should eventually get well.

I did find a little time to get a little sewing in this week, aside from the two trips to the vet, the doctor's appointment that took 2 hours, the dentist appointment and worship team practice. ;0P I finished another little puppy. This one is for Amanda's friend Heather.

I also wanted to say thank you again to Amanda for the beautiful quilt! My birthday was last saturday. I apologize that I have not had a chance to properly photograph it, partly because I haven't had time to properly clean my house so that I have a good place to photograph it. Amanda posted pictures of it when she finished it at her blog here. The quilt is beautiful, it is the perfect colors to go in our bedroom, too. I have already napped under it :0) It means so much to me to have such a wonderful friend who would think of me like this. Thanks so much Amanda, I will treasure it always as I do our friendship!

Now in no particular order because I am too lazy today are some pictures from my week.

Those little dogs are so cute! I remember seeing one on amandajean's blog but I didn't realize it was you that made them.

I'm glad your kitty is feeling a little better.
