Hooray for Small Finishes...

I have been busy with other projects lately and so I have not had much time to do a lot of sewing. I did however manage to knit a dishcloth.  I am thinking of making some of these as Christmas gifts this year.  I made up the pattern.  Not sure I would do the exact same thing again, but I do like the basket weave texture that it has.

I also managed to finish another little Dani dress and got it listed over at Etsy.  I love the simplicity of this little dress.  It just looks like it would be so comfy and light and airy to wear.  It has been incredibly hot here the past few weeks and I think it would be perfect to wear during this time of year.  

Color play...

I started a new project a few days ago, which I promise to share in a different post, but it got me looking at color combinations and I have found a new combination that I find myself wishing I could paint in some area of my house, but I wouldn't know where.  

I'm finding this combination of lemon chiffon yellow, pale aqua and rosy pink deliciously enticing lately.  I am wishing I could use these colors in my kitchen, but my earth tone colored countertops might not agree.  Shades of green, tan, brown and slate gray I don't think would work well with such a clear and airy color palette. Alas, I will have to find another way to use these colors together.  LOL.
