Just a thought, and a word of caution...

First the thought....
I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a series of smocking tutorials? Not necessarily a smock-a-long per say, but something sort of like that.

Now the word of caution...
PLEASE, PLEASE be careful with those rotary cutters! I just talked to one of our local quilt shop owners yesterday. One day last week she was working on a project. She had a new blade in her rotary cutter and yep, you guessed it, she cut herself. Not only did she cut herself, she cut the tip of her finger right off!!!! Diagonally right through the nail. So please, please be mindful when using those things. I know sometimes we take for granted just how dangerous they can be. This was a good reminder for me!

I would love to learn more about smocking! I subscribed to your blog and appreciate whatever you have to share!

Oh, and I read on someone else's blog recently about how they cut right into their hand with their rotary cutter. Scary!

Smocks rock.

And I cut myself with scissors yesterday - couldn't believe it. I think I'll invest in one of those rotary cutter gloves because I could see it happening...
Thanks for the warning!
